Our Services

OUR SERVICE

Strive Artists Ltd was born out of a passion for helping people grow, not only as performers, but as individuals. We know this industry can feel overwhelming at times, so we’re committed to creating a supportive space where you feel seen, valued, and guided. We take great pride in getting to know the people we represent, and we treat every opportunity with care.

Joining the Strive Artists Family

If you’d like to be represented by Strive Artists Ltd, the first step is to visit our Representation page and complete the online form. Once we receive your application, we’ll do our best to respond as soon as we can. We only take on clients we truly believe have the potential to grow in this industry every decision is made with care and consideration, and our choices are final.

Auditions

At Strive, we love getting to know each and every individual children and adults aged 4 and up from all across the UK. Our auditions are by invitation only, and there’s no charge to attend. Meeting you in person allows us to understand who you are beyond the application your personality, your energy, and what makes you unique. This helps us make sure we’re putting you forward for opportunities that genuinely suit you.

Castings

Castings happen throughout the UK. If you're in London or nearby, it’s important to be available at short notice, sometimes with less than 24 hours' notice, to get into central London. For those based further north, there are venues in Manchester, Liverpool, and Scotland, so ideally, you’d be within a reasonable distance of one of these hubs. We’ll always do our best to make the process smooth and manageable for you.

Bookings

Our clients are booked for all kinds of exciting work, TV, film, radio, commercials, corporate projects, and photography. Most jobs happen during the week, though the schedule depends on the specific role. For those under 16, a parent or legal guardian will need to chaperone. If the job is longer or more involved, a licensed chaperone will be arranged by the production. Once you’re 16, you're considered an adult and can work independently. While we can’t guarantee work (no agency should!), we’re always proactive and thoughtful about the roles we put our clients forward for. If you're uncomfortable with your child occasionally missing school or if their school isn’t flexible, being part of an agency might not be the right path just yet and that’s okay.

Fees

We don’t charge a registration fee, in line with BIS regulations. However, we do require all clients to have a professional photo shoot with one of our approved photographers once a year. These are kept affordable, and we believe they're essential to presenting you at your very best. We’ll provide all the details once you’re accepted into the agency.

Commission

Instead of registration fees, we work on commission 15% + VAT on any work you book, not including expenses. This model keeps things fair and transparent.

Photography

We work with trusted photographers to ensure your photos reflect your personality while maintaining a consistent and professional look across our site. Parents are also welcome to send in additional headshots, these are kept on file and shared with casting professionals if needed.

Sole Representation

Strive Artists Ltd is a sole agency. This means while you’re with us, we’ll be your only representation. It helps us give you the focus and support you deserve.

Child Performance Licenses

By law, any child under school leaving age (including babies) needs a license from their local council to take part in most performances, especially if school time is affected. This applies to TV, stage, radio, commercials, film, and modelling. Licenses must be secured before the job takes place. While the legal guideline is 21 days, most councils ask for at least 7 working days’ notice. Once your child finishes Year 11 (after the last Friday in June), they no longer need a license.

Spotlight

We are a Spotlight-approved agency, and we encourage all of our clients to join. Spotlight is the UK’s most trusted platform for casting young performers aged 4 to 25, and it offers fantastic exposure to industry professionals. Children can join from the age of 4, but only with agency representation. Membership costs £129.60 per year (including VAT) for young performers and £205.80 per (including VAT) for 18 and over, plus a small agency admin fee. We keep our annual photo shoot costs low to help balance out this extra expense. Only vetted professionals have access to Spotlight, ensuring your details are always protected.
